Ghostwriting

Ink can meet you at nearly any stage of the writing process, whether you have a general idea for a book, an outline, or even a manuscript ready for pre-publication.

In today's publishing marketplace, few non-fiction books on the shelves are actually "written" by the authors. You'd be surprised how many works of fiction were written by ghosts, too.

Experts in their field often want to publish a book demonstrating their knowledge, but simply do not have the time or inclination. Many people find writing challenging. That's normal — if writing were easy, everyone would do it!

That's where ghostwriters come in.

Some clients want ghostwriters to plan and write their books, while others have a manuscript in progress that they want edited for clarity.

You are the expert.

Your ideas are on each and every page.

Ghostwriters just help get you there.

Agent Queries/Book Proposals

To sell your book, it must look good. The traditional publishing industry reacts positively to proposals that follow a specific format. Submitting a properly formatted proposal will enhance the likelihood that a major publisher will be interested in your story.

When you come down to it, this is about presentation. A book proposal is a sophisticated exercise in branding and self-promotion that demonstrates the marketability of your concept. Traditional publishers don’t buy books, they buy proposals.

The story must be both visually pleasing and readable. You have the story, and we need to communicate it effectively.

Your readers’ first impressions are crucial—you need to grab them before they lose interest and put the book down. Good agents, just like your readers, are overwhelmed with book proposals, and I will present the narrative so that the best parts of your story are front and center.
